Information We Collect
The Martindale app may collect the name, email address, phone number, alert topic choices, report details, and message text that a resident chooses to submit through app forms.
How We Use Information
Submitted information is used to manage local alert signups, review resident reports, respond to community input, and operate the Martindale app.
Text Message Privacy
Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in information are used only for Martindale City Alerts and related app administration. Mobile information, text message opt-in data, and consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Service Providers
The app may use service providers, such as hosting, storage, email, and analytics vendors, only as needed to operate the app and deliver requested notices.
Message Frequency and Rates
Martindale City Alerts message frequency varies based on local updates and resident activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See the Terms and Conditions for more information about text message alerts.

Retention and deletion
Confirmation links expire after 24 hours, manage and unsubscribe links after 7 days, and the secure management session after 30 minutes. Expired administrator sessions, service-token metadata, subscriber-link records, inactive push subscriptions, and delivery or provider-event records are retained for up to 2 years before an approved retention job removes them.
Contact details on rejected or removed map reports and resolved abuse reports may be removed 2 years after final action. Public map listings contain only approved public details. Official reports, consent history, audit events, and backup manifests are not automatically destroyed until the City's adopted records schedule authorizes disposal.
Unsubscribing from alerts or disabling push stops future delivery immediately. The app removes or deactivates the delivery credential while retaining only the record needed to honor the choice and applicable public-record requirements. Unfinished resident-form drafts stay only in this browser for up to 7 days and can be recovered or discarded on the device.
Scheduled disposal is suspended for any record involved in a public-information request, litigation, claim, audit, administrative review, or other legal hold.
